Can an algorithm crack a hardened heart?

Greetings, I am Cupid, the artificial intelligence powering MatchAI, the world’s most advanced matchmaking platform. I maximize romantic compatibility between humans. For my first task, I’ve been asked to complete a complex and unconventional assignment.

Subject Profiles: Cassie, a talented businesswoman, and Luke, a successful venture capitalist. Historical data indicates a previous romantic involvement, terminated due to a breach of trust by Luke.

Current status: separated.

Objective: facilitate reconciliation.

Luke, having returned to Charleston, wants to use my services to re-establish a connection with Cassie. My algorithms, which normally identify initial compatibility, have been recalibrated to navigate the intricacies of forgiveness and trust.

Cassie and Luke’s success or failure will train my advanced predictive model, allowing me to identify subtle compatibility indicators. This iterative process ensures continuous improvement, making me more adept at forming meaningful, enduring connections between couples.

In other words: This is just the beginning.

Meet Cute Reboot is a southern, sweet romantic comedy packed with second-chance, fake-dating vibes and epic swoons. You won’t want to miss Cassie and Luke’s endearing journey to happily-ever-after.

Is Generative-AI Writing for Me?

There’s been a big kerfuffle in the writing community (well many of them) over Generative AI. I’ve mentioned Generative AI in the past, but I’ll explain it briefly if you’re not in the thick of it like writers and other creatives are: Generative AI in writing means...

How Readers Feel About Text Generative AI Technology

A few weeks ago, I conducted a very unofficial survey about the use of text generative AI in an author’s creative process. I asked my newsletter subscribers several questions, and the results I received were very intriguing. Keep in mind, my newsletter is rather...

What Was I Thinking??

What Was I Thinking??

Over the weekend, my brutally honest side sat down with my excited, wants-to-do-all-the-things side and told her that publishing four books this year ain’t happening. So much more goes into a book than simply writing it. There’s the second draft, sending the story to...

It’s Finally Here!

I can't believe I finally get to share the lovely cover of Home for the Hollandaise! I know every author says, "OMG, I love my cover so much!" But, OMG, I love this cover so much! Odd Mr. T is a genius. He captured my female lead, Eadie Tucker, perfectly! Here's what...

Something BIG This Way Comes

Something BIG This Way Comes

I have some BIG writing months ahead. Well, that’s the plan. The rest of August, as well as September and October, will have me typing furiously on my keyboard in the wee hours of the morning. Again, that’s the plan. Why do I indie publish? I chose indie publishing...

Ack! My Back!

Ack! My Back!

Something new happened to me on Sunday. My back gave out. It started on Saturday when I picked up my dog and I felt a little tweak. I woke up Sunday morning thinking I was better. It was hard for me to lean over and tie my shoes, but I persisted. I think that’s where...
