When Wilbur Wordsworth platted New Fable, he started a boarding school on a large, scenic property within the northwest corner of the town limits.

The boarding school’s campus featured several large buildings, all in the Gothic Revival style, surrounded by beautifully landscaped lawns and winding paths. Since the campus is a historic landmark, the buildings are well-preserved, maintaining their impressive, original details.

The students of New Fable Secondary enjoy an experience much like college, traveling from building to building between classes.
