Wordsworth Park
When Wilbur Wordsworth platted New Fable, he wanted to include a central gathering place. Thus, the town circle, later known as Wordsworth Park, was included in the plat map. A broad roundabout is at the juncture of Main and Chronicle Streets, creating the round park that includes a central fountain, a bronze bust of Wilber Wordsworth, and a variety of mature oak and maple trees.
