Every year in mid-November, New Fable Christian Church sponsors a Thanksgiving dinner on Main Street. Literally, right down the middle of Main Street! After the street is barricaded off, they set up a long line of tables and invite the town to enjoy a feast of turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, corn cake, fresh yeast rolls, and pumpkin pie, of course.

All New Fablers are invited to come! There are always leftovers, which the church donates to the mission in nearby Elmwood. In the event of inclement weather, the dinner is moved to the gym at New Fable Secondary School.
