Midsummer Fest is an annual festival coinciding with New Fable’s Fourth of July celebration. New Fable Christian Church sponsors free carnival games along Lakeshore Boulevard, a Ferris wheel and other rides sit at the end of Main Street offer rides for a dollar, and a fireworks display synchronized with the Battle Hymn of the Republic tops off the evening. Among the activities is a Parade of Pets and a cherry pie eating contest.
